It should be a survival/serial killer thriller, but it’s simply not exciting, and there isn’t enough depth to the plot. It looks great, but under that sheen, it’s unfortunately insubstantial. However, Isabel Merced who played Jubilee ( Transformers: The Last Light) and Shameik Moore who played Stuart ( Dope and The Get Down) had great chemistry and really sold the romance, despite the story departing from the book.Let it Snow! Winter is coming so Christmas movies as well. There isn’t much to say about Let it Snow.

They’re not lacking in the talent, so what could have been a refreshing update on the genre ends up feeling. John Greens teenage romance novel, Let It Snow, has been turned into a Christmas. Netflix took an achievable, cute romance and turned it into something off Wattpad. Their rsums include Mad Men, Lady Bird, Spider-Man, and Bombshell, to name a few. Directed by Luke Snellin, it features an Ensemble Cast set in the fictional town of Laurel, Illinois. Can I just say, what on Earth? This made the entire storyline feel like a fanfic. A 2019 Netflix holiday Rom Com film, based on the book of the same name by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle. Why did this need to be changed? Also, Stuart was transformed from an ordinary, soft boy to a famous singer. This may not seem significant, but I don’t understand the need for this. Firstly, in the Jubilee storyline (my favourite from the book) the film switched the roles of Jubilee and Stuart – making him the outsider who meets someone from the town, rather than Jubilee.

I understand, for production reasons, why some plots/scenes may have need to be changed - sometimes fictional scenes, not made for the screen, just aren’t do-able. THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD FOR NETFLIX’S LET IT SNOW.
